Last year a new music festival popped up in Chicago located on Oakwood Beach along Lake Shore Drive. The lineup was good, not great, but considering that it was their first year and managed to book Empire of The Sun, Passion Pit, Phantogram, Robert DeLong, and Cashmere Cat, really impressed me, so I got tickets. It was amazing, and if it weren’t for scheduling conflicts I would most definitely be attending again. This year they’re back and with a stacked lineup.
Mamby On The Beach will take place this Saturday and Sunday, July 2nd & 3rd, and will include performance from: Milky Chance, Chet Faker, Animal Collective, Wild Belle, Santigold, Kaytranada, and Thomas Jack, just to name a few. In addition to the great music, festival goers will be treated to awesome view of the city (especially around sunset, see featured image), and if you choose the VIP package you even get beach access. *You will be on sand, so dress and pack accordingly. You will also get a great leg work*
