Happy 75th birthday Bob Dylan!
We, the people of the world, would like to thank you for everything you’ve given us. You are truly a living legend, and while you have aged, your music surely has not. It is still as refreshing today as it was on its release, and in today’s world, it’s almost more refreshing. Attempting to come up with a list of favorite songs would be a futile, there are simply too many great songs.
To help celebrate the birth of one of the greatest singer-song writers of our lifetime, Animal Collective has released their take on Dylan’s “Don’t Think Twice, It’s Alright“. It’s beautiful in all the right ways, a perfect combination of the minimalism that makes the music of Bob Dylan and Animal Collective so powerful.
Once again, happy birthday Bob! May there be many more to come.
